BIKE REQUIREMENTS

your bike into the labeled wheel slots, and pull the hook support arm

Signal the driver, pull the exterior handle to open the lower luggage
bay door, slide the rack out, secure your bike, and slide it back in.

You are entirely responsible for loading and unloading your own bicycle.

Bike Style Restrictions
To ensure your bike fits safely, Golden Gate Transit
enforces the following equipment rules:

Tire and Fender Limits:
Your bike must have a wheel size of 20 inches or larger. Tires cannot be
wider than 3 inches, and the bike cannot have full front fenders.

E-Bikes:
Personal electric bikes are allowed
only
on buses equipped with front-mounted racks, must
weigh under 55 lbs, and you cannot remove
the battery to bring it inside the bus cab. [] |

Prohibited Models:
Tandem, recumbent, three-wheeled, or gas-powered bikes are strictly
banned from all racks and buses. Commercial bikeshare rentals (like Lyft
Bay Wheels) are also not allowed. [] |

Prep Your Bike:
You must strip all loose items like water
bottles, frame pumps, and detachable bags
before loading.
Baskets or racks mounted to your front handlebars will prevent the bike
