Gavin Newsom said more than 2,000 patients with COVID-19 are now hospitalized
in the state of California, including
901 who are in
intensive care unit beds.
That's more than 40 percent of the 2,188 individuals who have tested positive
for the novel coronavirus are in ICU beds.
“That 901 number represents a 10.4% increase from
the previously reported number yesterday,”
Over the last seven days, the number of COVID-19 patients in hospitals has
nearly tripled around the state while the number of patients in ICU beds has
more than quadrupled.

CA has 1,993 ICU
Beds AVAILABLE according to U, Washington ( unless they're have
been more recently added)
-------------------------
CA Added capacity:-
--- 120 COVID-19 patients Seton Medical Center in Daly City
--- 366 COVID-19 patients St. Vincent Medical Center in Los Angeles
--- 158 beds reopen Community Hospital in Long Beach - patients

The State has only 4,000 Ventilators but needs 10,000 -- just for the
"First Phase"
Where are we on getting the needed 6,000 Ventilators?
And when are we going to have ICU capacity -- that needs to be FAR MORE
than an additional 486 !
